Description

Cover art to Top-Notch Comics Laugh #29 by the golden age legend Bob Montana. Original signature by Montana as on the comic. The creator of Archie this cover was presumably being worked on a the same time as Archie #1 which appeared in the Winter of 1942.

One of the popular heroes of the era, the Black Hood is prominently featured.

As far as I am aware there are only two Montana superhero covers known to exist. I would be interested is anyone knows of others.
