DescriptionWhen Ogden Whitney began in comics, it became quite obvious that fans loved the way Whitney drew women! He did a lot of romance work, including Romantic Adventures and Wedding Bells during his early years. Undercover Girl, carried on with his propensity to draw beautiful women... as seen here.This is page 10 of Undercover Girl 5. Here, Starr Flagg figures out that Armitage is a spy recording speeches on old records and passing them to agents. Starr goes undercover at a carnival to flush out the agents. What a beautiful portrait of Starr Flagg in panel 4. This page was originally page 4 of the story, The Riddle of the Radio Death, a 6 page story from Manhunt #7 (April 1948). Social/Sharing |

oh man... this is GREAT!!!!!!!!! and as a record fiend... it is even better than great! never seen whitney like this. great piece.
