Glory 24 p3 by Ross Campbell

Glory was a major favorite for me in 2012/2013. Great writing, fantastic human characters and story. The discovery of Joe Keatinge as a writer and the jump artwise for Ross Campbell.

I had never read Wet Moon at the time Glory came out as the grunjy teen emo vibe I was getting from the book was not much of interest to me but always recognized a little something in the art. A true visual identity. But then when Glory came out, the detail, storytelling and visual ultra violence was really exciting.

Understand I'm not looking for ultra violence per se but here it fitted the tone of the book and the story perfectly.

So I choose this page as representative of the book, which showcases quite a bit of violence in Glory destroying her oponent, her father actually, with head crunches and by ripping his lower jaw off (ouch!) and loosing herself to her demonic heritage, resulting in her transformation towards that very heritage.

Just great, punchy storytelling :)
