Description

Sometimes I get one of these Ebay pieces by some totally obscure artist and just look at it in awe. Del Nayra is described by the seller as an animation artist in the Manila area who "was" (!?) an accomplished portraitist and water color artist. He's one of those who also makes some extra money selling pieces on Ebay to guys like me.

As is usually the case with Ebay pin up artists, he apparently feels compelled to tie his pieces to come comic book character. Despite the apparently correct costume, that doesn't remotely look like Donna Troy to me. I'd have called it "Chanteuse". Wow, just wow. This guy is hiding his light under a barrel doing routine pictures of comic book characters. Surprisingly, it's dated 2011 though I bought it in 2013. I thought this kind of piece was made for a quick buck. Maybe he didn't want to part with it when he saw how well it turned out.
