Description

Torquemada goes late-80s skate-punk as 'Deathbringer' reaches its denouement! I'd be amazed if the late Johnny Hicklenton wasn't a fan of Mike Muir and his various associated extreme music acts, as with the bandana, shorts and crazy muscles, there's more than a shade of Cyco Miko about the Grandmaster. This page is particularly special to me, as it features my favourite ever 'Be pure! Be vigilant! Behave!' moment - the fact that Torque warms up with 'I can't say it often enough!' seems to me to be utterly intrinsic to his magnificently warped personality. To me, that line is Torquemada in a nutshell - he really can't say it often enough. In a life lived with all the amps turned up to 11, Torquemada never gets bored of playing his own greatest hits.

Greg, I'm sure that there's a rule somewhere that will state that once you own a complete story of Hicklenton thats enough for one gallery and you should share the wealth , I know another CAF gallery that's desperate for a nice example :-)
