Description

This is a recreation that I have been asked to do multiple times but always turned down. I was always afraid of this one as it is the most (in my opinion anyway) iconic Spiderman image from my youth and I didn't want to touch it and possibly not do it justice. Then after the buyer told me about his love for Spidey, as well as his young daughter's, I decided this was the right time and he was the right guy for me to bite the bullet and try it out for. he wanted the piece as a single 11 X 17 (horizontal) instead of a DPS, so I changed some things around and made it fit. That little girl in the window with the stuffed Spidey toy is the buyer's daughter, so I threw her in to give it a more personal touch that both he and his daughter could enjoy together. I also added a few more recognizeable details in the crowd at the bottom as well... You can see some Batman and Superman shirts, and if you look reeeaaalllly close, you can see some comic characters hidden in the crowd as well: Spawn, Batman, even Venom!
