Mark Brooks - Storm

The piece de resistance of my FanExpo commissions and probably my current collection! I wasn't able to get on Mark's commissions list at the 2011 FanExpo and decided to try my luck at the following NYCC the same year. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to get on it despite being one of the first ones in the convention at opening!
Fast forward to 2013 and my persistence and luck paid off this time at this year's FanExpo. Mark cherry picks from his commission list so there is no guarantee your character will be drawn even if you're the first so again I was very fortunate. There was a chance I wasn't getting this piece done because at the third day of the show, Mark was a very busy man and I hadn't seen him work on it yet. When I inquired Mark about completing my piece, he said he would sincerely try to get it done since he knew I was trying to get a commission from him for a while and the rest is history. I know I will be studying this piece for a loooonnnggg time. It only drives me to work harder to get to the level of Mark's caliber. Nothing but great things can be said of the guy.
As well, It was great to talk to David, Mark's dad, at length (Lisa didn't come with Mark to the show) - the guy's a cool dude!
