Description

There's a hilarious story on how this piece ended up as a cover for IDW's G.I. JOE comic series.

This piece was originally a commission for me. By chance IDW needed a variant cover for issue #9 and contacted Robert Atkins. They needed it faster than Robert would've been able to provide a brand new image. Instead, he showed them my piece which they absolutely LOVED and voilà, a cover was born.
