DescriptionUpdate: Bruce Patterson has added his inks to this commission. Behold the the 'before' and 'after' in glorious black and white.Previously... If you use x-ray specs and look straight through a copy of Marvel Two in One # 76 it looks exactly like this... The Ringmaster being hauled away by Johnny Law. Giant Man punching Cannonball into the lower Stratosphere. The ever-lovin', blue-eyed Thing teaching the Crafty Clown a lesson in automotive re-design. And Iceman putting Fire Breather on, well, ice. It just doesn't pay to be in the Circus of Crime, kids. The concept for this commission was nakedly stolen and/or adapted (with sincere gratitude and apologies) from the all-conquering One Minute Later Guy. This drawing was magnificently penciled by the incomparable Val Semeiks. As ever, Val completed this commission quickly, sent a layout sketch for approval and kept me in the loop every step of the way. I'm not sure how Val will ever top this drawing, but I can guarantee that I will be asking him to do more commissions for my gallery in the months ahead. Top marks, right across the board. For comparison's sake, the original cover to Marvel Two in One 76 by Jerry Bingham and Joe Sinnott is shown on the left side of the above image. Social/Sharing |

How could a kid look at this cover and not want to snatch it off a news stand? Your commission captures that same spirit of comics that is so missing nowadays.

WOW, this is a phenomenal cover -- I loved these action scenes and who doesn't love the Ringmaster and the Circus of Crime -- from conception to pencils to inks to logo, this is one for the ages with the MTIO 76 commissions
