Description

This is a pencil & ink commission by Jae Lee drawn on 11 X 17" comic art board. I have a really nice Spider-man pencil commission by Jae so I wanted a nice inked piece for my collection. Hellboy seemed like a good choice.

Nice! I've been a fan of Jae's since his Namor days and enjoy seeing the changes in his work over the course of his career. I'm glad to see some inked work again as I always felt it was a very strong suit for Jae. The subtle cartooning and softer inking is something I've never seen him do before and it really works. As an artist whose work seems to be influenced by Mignola, at least since his stint on Inhumans his depiction of Hellboy has a very unique flavor to it. Congratulations.

Now this is pretty darn awesome- the kitten on his shoulder is a great way to convey that HB is firmly on the side of good: a great touch!
