Description
Herb Trimpe is known for the Hulk and Wolverine but I loved his Sky Warriors which appeared in Marvel's Savage Tales. He is big into planes and flies them and has an encyclopedic knowledge of them. I originally approached him to do a Sky Warriors piece. As we corresponded, this GI Joe piece came together. I love his attention to detail and the scan just does not do it justice.
