Description

This is 1 of 2 pages from Superior Spider-Man 18 I picked up from Paolo at Cadence Comic Art. It’s funny; Ryan Stegman told me the 2 pages I bought were his 2 favorite from the issue. Quite separately, I was going back and forth with inker John Livesay and he mentioned these 2 pages are 2 of the best from the book, and that the panel here featuring Hobgoblin was his favorite thing he did for the 3 Superior issues. It shows, too.

Ryan did a great Hobgoblin (well, it’s actually the Green Goblin dressed as the Hobgoblin, hence the bottom left panel) here and the detail in the inking by John is crazy. I think it might be Ryan’s first published Hobgoblin. I’ve put up a nice scan but you’d still have to see it in person to really appreciate it. The intricacies in all panels are killer. Hope y’all like the page!

Love all the detail in the middle panel! Ryan did a wonderful job with this page.
