Description
Prince Valiant # 532 - 13 April 1947. I bought this 2/3 page from Jeff Jones over 20 years ago. He glued it to masonite as it has a tear. He also had a Foster Tarzan page but I couldn't afford it at the time.

This is just a few weeks before the one I have and I LOVE this storyline. Soon they will be in the New World and in my mind these Sundays all just shine with Foster at the height of his considerable powers as an artist and storyteller. The big panel here is outstanding with Aleta sprawled on the deck and Ulfrun wondering why he got himself into this mess. Super cool even without the top tier!

The big panel with Aleta laying unconscious is a wonderful piece of art. The storytelling is superb as you read the regret in Ulfrun's face. Too bad about the mounting on masonite...

Ditto what Benno said. What a GREAT storyline! The only one I like a little better is Val's kidnapping of Aleta. Would LOVE to have a piece from that episode! Congrats on the AMAZING page!
