Duck Nephew with Junior Woodchuck Guidebook and Green Lantern ring by Don Rosa and Michal Jacot

This started as an idea from Michal Jacot... of the MZS-APA several years ago. He drew the Green Lantern ring and the grass at the bottom of the page, and sent photocopies of it to all of the APA members, with the challenge to draw the rest of the picture, or to write a story about it. I did write a short story, but always wanted to actually draw a sketch to complete the scene. I tried it once myself, but it didn't turn out well. Then I thought of Don Rosa, and his wonderful sense of humor and general love of classic comics. I mentioned it to him at a show a couple years ago, but had forgotten to bring the photocopy with me. So when I saw he was coming to Planet Comicon in 2014, I pulled this out to bring. He usually just does head sketches at shows, but was willing to do this, and he exceeded my wildest hopes. I've gotten lots of great sketches from different artists over the years, but I think this may be one of the best.
