DescriptionI've a great affection for the "Kirby verse". Some really cool characters and some who, if they're not particularly cool, are at least really cool looking ;) Dynamite's attempted Kirby:Genesis is probably my favorite new series of the 5 years. Loved all the books. When I saw these prelim's from Ryan Sook for sale my brain went "Mineminemineminemineminemine". My brain's like that :) Luckily these were cheap enough my brain didn't have to leave disappointed.Jerek, the Wanderer from Kirby Genesis #6. I wonder if that's accurate, though, as Sook did a cover for #6 that didn't use Jerek. It's the Mythics cover for which I've got that prelim. This does, however, look like Alex Ross's cover for #8 which is what I'm going with. Don't know if Ross just liked Sook's idea or the editor did or something else. I do know that either Jerek himself or another version of him was in Jack Kirby's Galactis Bounty Hunters. Have to get that one day and give it a good read. All of these prelims are pretty great, but I think that this one is my favorite.
