Description
A classic image of a rabid Wolverine. Originally created as artwork for an oversized retail store cardboard standee, this image was republished over and over by Marvel (i.e., the cover for Arena Magazine #9, digitally inserted to create a X-Men "Gold Team" poster by Dynamic Forces). Inks were done by Jan Harps, not Jimmy Palmiotti.



When a similar image was used for the cover of the X-Men Poster Book, Palmiotti inked over a lightboxed image.

While Quesada may not have often drawn Wolverine, the quality here makes up for any lack of quantity. Although I'm not familiar with Haarpes' work, his inks here are spectacular. Without a doubt Quesada's definitive image of Wolverine. Tremendous congratulations!
