Description

Nikita Khrushchev is back; this time he is accompanied by "Fido" Castro! In this sequence, Kelly has Khrushchev drawn as a huge pig with a top hat and Castro is a goat! Kelly's art has a slicker look than in the previous Khrushchev appearance and the lettering has also been enhanced. This daily is part of the Puce Stamp storyline which is my second favorite Pogo storyline (after the Prehysterical Pogo). This terrific strip was published nationwide in 1962 and reprinted in the "Instant Pogo" collection.
