Bushmiller: Nancy's Candy Glory Hole, 1965

Original drawing for the 11-27-65 "Nancy" strip by Ernie Bushmiller. It's in unusually pristine condition, with no yellowing in the Benday at all, which is nice. This strip features Bushmiller at the absolute height of his brilliant, minimalistic gag powers, with an unexpected sight-gag superbly executed in a cleverly composed series of crystalline drawings. This is a perfect example of the type of Nancy strip that really makes Bushmiller fans salivate.
