Brainiac 5 by Derec Donovan

In most versions of the Legion of Super-Heroes, Brainiac 5 is the biggest jerk on the team. But he's also always the smartest person on the team, so he's got that going for him. And every time he falls in love, I can't help but feel sorry for him. His relationships with Supergirl, Andromeda and Dream Girl all went badly. Brainy has caused trouble for the Legion quite a few times, but he's helped to save them many more. And it's always fun to see him outsmart some villain, especially when he's got an attitude about it. No Legion is complete without a Brainiac 5. For this commission, I asked Derec to draw Brainy in his Francis Manapul-designed costume from the Threeboot era. And Derec, as usual, did an incredible job. Brainy look serious and contemplative as he is most likely outsmarting all of us. Thanks, Derec!
