Pig by Stephan Pastis

The Washington Post held a book signing event with Stephan Pastis of the Pearls Before Swine comic strip, limited to 500 registered people, and apparently ended up with 200 on the waiting list (and however many more that simply didn't bother), and I was lucky enough to get on the list early. Stephan is a VERY amusing storyteller (which you can get from his strip), and entertained the room the entire time. If you have opportunity to go see him at a similar appearance, it is worth your while! At the end of the book signing, a few of us at the end of the line asked for sketches in our sketchbook. As he'd been there a long while signing (in addition to the 2 hour event), I just asked for whatever he wanted, and he kindly did a quick Pig from the strip.
