A very dear Friend passed away Thursday. 08. 2014. Nick Post.
He was of great importance, and a staunch supporter to many Creators in the Comic Book world. Many of you know Nick, or know of him, and what kind of a man he was. He took care of Creators, and encouraged them to go beyond their dreams - and dream big.
Nick never wanted, or asked for credit for what he did for people, and what he did was a lot. From helping them out financially ( and not asking for anything back ) to promoting their Comic Book, or other art at the "Source Comics and Games", in Minnesota - which he was Co-Owner.
People were number one with him, and you could see that when you walked into the Source. Going to the "Source Comics and Games" was like entering CHEERS. Nick was the Ambassador with the employees having the same - something for everyone, and everyone is welcome - thinking; that won them an Eisner award for best retailer award.
I can't believe he's gone, truly, I don't want to believe that Nick has left us: there are so many more fun things to do.
