Another amazing illustration by Brian. Great design, drawing, and Colors.
Great sketch from Bruce Timm. Great pose, and movement. Looking forward to seeing if this will be a finished illustration.
Great Alan Davis illustration. As a huge Alan art fan: I would love to collect a Spider-man run, or new Spider-man project drawn, and written by Alan - his DC " Nail ", and " Another Nail " mini series was pure magic!
A fantastic piece of art to have in your collection! Both versions have great appeal
Nice Steve Fearless Dawn piece. Steve has that winning combo of draftsmanship, humor, and style that hits the spot.
Fantastic page Gene. In my opinion, that was Jim Lee's golden age of illustration.
Beautiful painting by Drew, and a great piece to have in your collection. Prayers to Drew, his wife Dylan, as they live with his Alzheimers.
Congratulations on owning this beautiful Adam Hughes illustration. I certainly believe you that the scan doesn't do Adams work justice. There are suttleties, and depth that does not come through. Those that know, or have talked with Adam, know his illustrations are like a symphony.
Wow! Robert really knocked that out of the park! What a fantastic high quality print to have; congratulations. :-)
Oh my!!! This is fantastic!!! Great quill work. When using quill nibs you need to have an Angel's touch so you don't go into the paper fibers. Thanks for sharing, and the enlargered high quality image as-well.
Wow! Matteo did a fantastic Dr. Strange. His ink wash looks great!
This is gorgeous!!! Curious, is this all brush, or is there some Nib inking in there? Brush can definitely create this, just seeing some details that look like they might be by Nibs.
One of my favorite covers; I have multiple copies of this issue just to get the right color, and overall appearance of this front cover. For me, this is Jim's golden age in comics, and illustration. JIm's hard work in UNX #'s 256 - 272 were a landmark in modern artwork. You have a keen eye for quality; it's nice to know I can got to one place to view these treasures.
What a wonderful painting to have in your collectin James. Thank you for sharing her, and the true story behind her masterful creation. Also, I very much appreciate you allowing us to download a high rez. version of this classic beauty.:-)
My first time seeing this beautiful artwork. An excellent designed, and rendered Nick artwork. Congratulations.
This is a gorgeous page. A gorgeous Nick page! Nick's design, and rendering skills were under rated during his time, and are sorely missing on today's mainstream, and many indie publications. Congratulations on a prime page of art.
Cool page. That was a comic I found on the ground when I was a kid. Nifty story.
Hey Gail, thank you, and thank you for commissioning me on this, and Power Girl. I enjoyed delving back in that series to get the right vibes for this Supes; Thank you.
Hi Will, thank you. :-) Right, this is the first time I posted her in the monthly Sketch book. I have her in my Con Sketch gallery.
Thank you MC. You have good taste. Besides being a great talent, Tony was a sharing, down to Earth, and beautiful human being. Tony and I only met for two days, but we connected like old-time friends; and connected for days after. There are a number of fantastic pieces of Tony's artwork that people have not seen. It would be wonderful if his daughter would make a book of his artwork. I was in talks with Tony to produce an art book for him after we met, but that never came to fruition.
A classic from Buzz; good stuff. I hope Buzz is doing well.
Thank you Will, I appreciate you saying that. I will be posting more after SuperBowl weekend.
Fantastic painting by Kent. His work is inspirational. First time seeing his Monotype art book, was transformative.
Amazing George artwork of the Scarlet Witch; classy, and beautiful.
A beautiful splash page from a true artist. Nestor really knew how to layout, and render an exciting page didn't he? Has the feel of a Warren magazine design, with how the type is rendered, and placed. Congratulations!
You have good taste. Madame Derringer is one of my favorite duotone paintings by Frank. Congratulations on this addition. Love the framing of this as-well.
A favorite page from an outstanding issue. These are the issues that made me love Jazzy John. Congratulations on a wonderful piece of history, and a spectacular example of how a sequential art page should look. I tip my hat Sir.
What a stunning piece by Alex. His flawless line work adapts it self so elegantly to Storm.
