William S. Burroughs with Dog & Colt was rendered in 1989. An Acrylic on board painting measuring 100 X 70 cm ( 39 X 27 1/2 " ). This painting is one of the artist's all time favorites (most other people's as well); Krüger held it in his personal collection for 15 years before he had the heart to let it go. Sebastian tributes the launch of his career to this painting. After several unsuccessful attempts to get a solo museum show, Krüger took this painting to the curator of the Hanover museum in Germany. The curator looked at the painting and began to chant over and over; "What did you do?!" "What did you do?!", "Dear G-d Sebastian, What did you do?!" Needless to say, Krüger got his first solo museum show.
