DescriptionIt's very hard to find Leinil Yu covers that are not pencil-only.So I'm very happy to have found this inked cover on Kwan Chang's site. Thanks Kwan! It was also difficult to figure out which gallery in which to post this ... Deadpool or Carnage? I went with Carnage because 1) I love everything symbiotic and 2) Carnage is the dominant image on this cover. Yu really knocks it out of the park. Oh, and also, when this miniseries came out, I thought to myself, "YES! FINALLY! The two BADDEST boys of Marvel are going to have it out! It's about time!" The series did not disappoint. If you have not read it, I highly recommend you take a look. For one thing, you get a symbiote-possessed dog for the first time, and that's worth the price of admission. Plus, Shriek is back. Enjoy. Anything with Carnage is a great add! This is a very cool image as well and nice to see this inked rather than just pencils. Bravo!

Yu's pencil work has always impressed me for a few reasons. My time in this hobby has drawn me to three conclusions about the uniqueness of your outstanding cover- 1. Never seen these two heavyweights on the same cover...I'd imagine it's the type of banter I'd always hopes to see in the Sunday funnies. Awww that reminds me, I miss Calvin and Hobbes:( 2. Trying to find an inked Yu cover piece is a nightmare I no longer wish to discuss further than this sentence 3. Gotta love them #1s... Congrats amigo!!!

I'm glad you decided to pick up this piece! I agree about Yu pencil pieces... there's just something about a completely inked piece that presents so much better!

Yikes! What a killer cover (Literally) by Leinil Yu! Stunning drawing with a truly frightening image of Carnage attacking Deadpool! Interesting that Lienil put a tong of crosshatching into his drawing of Deadpool and almost none on Deadpool, so you get a contrast between the two combatants of darkness and light! Interesing too that you could frame it at this way or upside down! Fabulous pick-up, Paul, congrats!
