Description

this is an original drawing of Lon Chaney, Jr. as "The Wolf Man" that I created for the show, using Prismacolor pencils on black artboard. This is one of a set of seven drawings of the classic horror stars that I drew for the use of what were called, "bumper cards" or, as we called them "more to comes" because those were the words applied to them as they aired, with their purpose being a segway from show to commercial. This set was done in the early eighties for The Tonight Show starring Johnny Carson and was used mostly during Halloween season and in particular on Halloween night.
