Description

Cover to the Cloak & Dagger Graphic Novel where they face off against Jack the Ripper. Astute fans will note that the published cover was not signed by the artists. When the art was returned to Larry Stroman, Larry signed both names on the art work. Unfortunately, Larry mispelt "Nowlan" as "Nolan" on the art. Make no mistake, the inks are masterfully done by Kevin Nowlan. As if this piece wasn't special enough, the art was done on an oversized heavy 18" x 24" art board.

Its good that he signed it small. So many artists have a habit of putting their name almost as big as the art itself. It is the artist prerogative to do so, but its always so jarring and instantly pulls you out of the reality of the piece

Nowlan is such a great inker! I really enjoyed this graphic novel because I thought that the two artist's styles worked well together. Then again, Nowlan's inks can cast a magic spell on just about anybody's pencils.
