Description

A great find in the art files of Russ Heath! Russ, a big fan of Hal Foster, drew these three "Prince Valiant inspired" samples in the 1940s as portfolio fodder in case he ever got the chance to work on the strip.

What were you doing digging around in Mr. Heath's drawers? Well, if you have to, I can't imagine finding anything nicer than these illustrations. Very nice!
