"Eat fist, Punk!"

A gloriously old school depiction of Judge Dredd by Brett Ewins, and Brendan McCarthy.
These early takes on the character are pretty unsophisticated by today's standards, but I have a real soft spot for them.

This particular tale appeared in the 1979 2000ad annual. For those unfamiliar with British comic traditions, this was a hardback book that came out every Christmas.

They ought to revive that tradition!
