DescriptionI had the pleasure of meeting Pat for the first time at the 2014 Rhode Island Comic Con. He was working on commissions, and he had a stack of fantastic work that he had previously completed for sale. I had to get a piece from him, and it was hard to decide. I went with the Dr. Strange because he is one of the 3-5 characters that I regularly request. I love the piece, and my favorite part are the Ditko-esque, super-expressive hands! When he drew Spider-Man on Marvel Team-Up it's clear that Pat was drawing inspiration from the original creator, and I loved it.I hope to get more work from him in the future! Social/Sharing |

Incredibly coolThank you sir! I highly recommend reaching out to him for a commission. He was very professional, and his rates were very reasonable.

very nice commissionThanks Dean! He also did a very nice Dr. Doom for a pal of mine. It wasn't easy deciding on a character.

I can completely understand your dilemma of having to choose if all the pieces were as sharp as this one. I think I would have picked this one, too. He's not 'swishy' looking (a word I picked up from reading a James O'Barr interview lol) and I love the kinetic energy around him... it's just done so well with much respect to Dr. Strange. My memory is bad so I don't really remember if I've seen any of Mr. Broderick's work before however hopefully next year I can add him to my list with thanks to this piece. :)
