Grea tcover for a mediocre novel! I enjoy these Powers where he melds the abstract as well as more realsitic touches fro mthe actual story.

I am a big Fritz Leiber fan AND a Powers fan (of course), so I was excited to get this piece. It is also one of the few examples where Powers actually illustrated a moment from the book! This makes sense because Powers liked Leiber so probably actually read the book ; )
And I agree, not my fave Leiber novel (although it certainly has its moments).
