Kohivart - Nightwing and Nightcrawler - Private Dick(s)

Another fantastic addition to my Dick Grayson/Kurt Wagner collection, this time from the amazing Kohivart, whose work I cannot recommend strongly enough.

We had a chat about these two, and decided to go for a little bit of an AU, since their team-ups depend upon teleporting between dimensions, it’s possible that every now and again, in a Cross Time caper-y sort of way, they both end up somewhere unpexcted, in this case, a sort of 1930’s film noir setting with “Wagner and Grayson, Private Investogators” (It would have been “Grayson and Wagner”, but Kurt was the one with the funds the month they decided to get the sign-painter in.

So we have Dick as the frontman of the partnership, a deductive prodigy and a real charmer with the dames, and Kurt as the trenchcoat-clad, fedora-wearing information gatherer (Though he charms the dames just as much, given half a chance).

But even in their 1930’s garb, both of them want to be leaping into action at the right moment, and clearly the right moment has arrived.

Given how upbeat these two are together, “film noir” might be stretching it a little.. “film off-white?” :)
