Kitty Pryde and Lockheed by Chris Samnee

Picked this up on Chris Samnee's store, chrissamnee.bigcartel.com.

Every year, Chris announces on his Twitter that he puts up sketches for sale every few weeks or so, depending on his schedule, and this year, it so happened to be today, 12/08/14! He said he put the sketches up at 9 am CST (7 am PST - my time!).The sketches sold out within the first 1 to 2 minutes upon opening the online-store for business!

I originally wanted to get the Avengers Sketch or Captain America sketch he had on his site, but right when he opened the store, the 2 sketches were already added to someone else's cart, and then sold out almost immediately!

I also had my eye on the Kitty Pryde sketch since it would fit along perfectly with my Savage Wolverine Chris Samnee sketch (http://www.comicartfans.com/GalleryPiece.asp?Piece=1075340&GSub=151588), which surprisingly hasn't gotten a single comment yet! (I picked up the Savage Wolverine sketch on Thanksgiving Weekend, 2013, last year, which was the last time I bought sketches on his online-store!)

The Kitty Pryde sketch, however, was already added to someone else's cart, by the time I wanted it, and the buyer has up to 10 minutes to check out, or it would be released to a new buyer!

I kept on refreshing my cart within the 10 minute radius, and what was left were only 2 sketches, Beast and Kitty Pryde! (He had 12 sketches total!) My only option at that point was to pick up the Kitty Pryde sketch which was the last sketch in the store.

Glad it all worked out well in the end! :)
