Christmas Gift for a Super-fan

This is a commission I did for a client's four-year-old girl recently. Since she was into Superman and I had drawn her dad as Superman, her mother thought it'd be cool if I did something like this. The idea is she's looking up into the sky wrapped in her dad's cape. The concept work took weeks due to other things I'm working on, but thankfully the rendering was able to be complete over a three day period. I tried to make the clouds look as organic as possible so I used a white pencil to create a misty quality around the edges and minimal detail on their surface. Etched on 9 x 12 Strathmore with copics, inks, white paint and prismacolor pencils. Merry Christmas.
