Description

An early SF painting, which appeared as the cover for Everybody's Magazine, June 1917. It illustrates Victor Rousseau's classic SF tale, "The Messiah of the Cylinder." When published in hardcover a short time later, it had fantastic illustraions by Joseph Clement Coll.
