DescriptionAlan Moore and Dave Gibbons have worked together on some of the most well-known comics of all time. Today, I want to call your attention to (or remind you of) one of their great collaborations. That’s right! “For the Man Who has Everything”. Originally presented in Superman Annual #11, this was published before Watchmen and was intended on being a one shot Christmas story for Superman. Over the years, it has grown into something far more (did you catch the pun? Anyone?). I remember thinking that this was one of the best Superman stories I had ever read. Obviously, someone else thought the same thing. The story has been reprinted often, most recently in “The Greatest Superman Stories Ever Told.”

Ron congrats on being the caretaker of a spectacular classic interior page . Seeing pages like this makes me wish that modern art was done to this caliber but unfortunately comic company's have lost there desire to produce quality such as this , congrats

If you're going to slum it in panel pages, you could do a whole lot worse than this!:P What a perfect example!!

To answer your question - pretty damn great! Almost as good as Felix's 'slumming it in panel pages' comment.

Wow, great page from a truly incredible story. Congrats Ron. I loved the comic at the time and now as a Dad, my 4-year old son and I love watching the surprisingly-emotional JLU cartoon episode based on this story.

Ron Congratulations on getting a page from your favorite storyline. Many years ago, I remember seeing the half splash with Batman, Superman and Mongul on Ebay. I take it you missed that one? At that time, I thought it was quite pricey but not so much these days :p
