DescriptionI've been waiting a long time for this and it's worth every minute. My jaw hit the floor the moment I saw this. 14 x 18 inches oil painting on masonite board. There's no doubt in my mind that Chris Stevens is a genius and incredibly talented artist. The choices of colors and the color/tone palette, the breath-taking details in the background and of the character, the composition, everything about this piece really impresses me. Chris really exceeded my expectation. Thanks, Chris! Social/Sharing |

GREAT painting – congrats Martin. Welcome to the club of CS painting owners (mine is in my gallery). I know you are thrilled as I remember what I felt when I saw my painting. I love Chris Stevens art – there is so much to look at. I was immediately drawn to the Wolverine figure (good choice on the suit) but quickly my eye was also drawn to the background. Chris is great with colors and balance – the sun in the background is a great contrast with the snow and provide great depth for the piece.

Glad I could join the club! :D I thought of the same thing. The background is just as breath-taking as figure itself. That's the beauty of Chris's art. 's just great all around. And I just saw your Hulk painting. Amazing! Seems like this guy has been putting out gems!
