Waiting for the definitive painting-commission from one of the best artist of this field, this is the work in progress.... WHAT DO YOU THINK ???************************************

Ava Lavinia Gardner (December 24, 1922 – January 25, 1990) was an American actress.

She was signed to a contract by MGM Studios in 1941 and appeared mainly in small roles until she drew attention with her performance in The Killers (1946). She was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Actress for her work in Mogambo (1953).

I can't wait to see the final painting, but this pencil drawing is a real beauty in and of itself! It's very interesting to see how Biffignandi's technique here is quite similar to that of another great artist who portrayed many Hollywood stars of the past: Pepe Gonzalez.

You have reason Davide, the pencil-line of the maestro remember a little bit the one of Gonzales in the Portfolios he did in the late 70's ..... I think, Sandro never saw them..... at the time he was full immerged in the sexy covers.... Waiting for the final art......thanks for your comment ....
