"Ghost Riders in the Sky" : Scott Rosema / Bob Almond

Scott Rosema created one of the earliest entries in my Common Elements gallery, featuring Iron Man and Iron Fist. (See it in CE Gallery 1.) When Scott was working on that piece, he and his wife Suzy were bantering about some of the other superhero pairings that might make for interesting CE art. One of Suzy's suggestions was Space Ghost -- a character with whom Scott is quite familiar -- and the original Ghost Rider, the Western hero from whom the skull-headed biker took his name. I liked that idea so much that I asked Scott to create it. This was the spectacular result. Then, after a hiatus of 15 years, Bob Almond came along and inked it.
