Description

I am still a fan of the "ElseWorlds" work that DC put out in the 90's. They were fun and clever and reminiscent well done. This page is from a rare non-Batman/non-Superman ElseWorld story that featured Hawkman and Hawkwoman. I could be all wet and historians would likely disagree, but the art of Michael Lark in this reminded me of the look and feel of Martin Nodell and Irwin Hanson. This style isn't my favorite but for this story it did lend a nostalgic feel. What I DO love about the page is the wonderful shadowing and detail.
