Charlie sits in his chair by the docks, unaware of the impending disaster...

These pages are something of a grail for me. I've loved this story since the first time I read it and it still brings a lump to the throat and a tear to the eye on every subsequent reading.

Thanks to Rufus for getting these pages to me and of course to the good people of Northpool for not allowing Charlie to walk alone.

Gorgeous pages, with the ominous "Big Jobs!" call! Yes, a real tear-jerker of a tale. Gibbons does sucha good job of conveying the scale of Charlie with the cramped panels, and imbues all of the droids with such emotion.
