Big Wow Comicfest 2015 had several highlights for me, but easily the best would be receiving this gorgeous commission from Adam Hughes.

This happens to be an outstanding commission from a ways back and not a new one. Man, was it worth the wait! Upon its completion I was already thrilled when a small pic was posted on Facebook and then just completely floored upon seeing this in person. If you were at Big Wow Comicfest 2015 last month then perhaps you were lucky enough to view it up close in his portfolio.

Take a good long look and you'll understand why I am just so elated by this. Adam Hughes' sexy women make everyone else's sexy women look like Mrs. Doubtfire.

My sincerest and heartfelt thanks to Allison and especially to Adam for going so far above and beyond and just making my entire year in terms of comic art. Anything else this year will just be gravy.

I believe I saw this at the copic panel Adam and Alison did, she was talking about the ink process and how the white shine from the latex is white ink on top of the blacks and greens. Beautiful piece.
