Friend, Richard - "Stands With a Fist"

RicH offered some artwork for sale from his ComicArtFans Gallery, including an unfinished first attempt depiction of Psylocke that he was working on as a gift for Jim Lee's birthday. He decided he wanted a slightly different approach and started again from scatch. I told him that I liked the unfinished piece, but asked if he could finish up the inking by simply darkening up the pencil lines already on the piece for a slightly higher price. RicH agreed, although he said it would be a little while before he could get to it. RicH also understood me to mean that I wanted the piece to be more or less like the one he did for Jim. Instead, I wanted something less elaborate -- not necessarily Psylocke -- a blonde instead of a brunette. Rich responded with this lovely piece of work. The title I've given it is from the character in "Dances with Wolves" although I do not mean it to be that character in the least -- it's just what the image reminded me of. This is a beautiful piece of work and I anticipate that RicH has a great career as a penciller as well as an inker ahead of him!
