Description

Rafael Busom Clúa drew episodes for the 1960's Toray "Azucena" stories. In the 1970s he worked for european girls magazines, specially in UK and Holland (such as the dutch "Anita" magazine).

In Spain he is warmly -and curiously- known for Bruguera illustrated books of children's tales, integrated in the "coleccion Heidi", a collection of different classic children tales which mixed both text with illustrated pages, under the slogan "con 160 ilustraciones"

This is a fabulous image! I know Budom's work for British comics like Pink and Mates, but I've not seen anything this before from him. It's terrific
