Description

Another page I secured for nostalgia reasons and I couldn't be happier. I was completely blindsided by this coming up earlier this year on HA. I remember going to the book stores a lot as a kid. Does anyone remember the chain Waldenbooks? While at the bookstore, I would lose myself for hours in the Science Fiction/Fantasy section. I stumbled across a collection called Myth Adventures One published by Starblaze Graphic and it had the first four issues of the comic adaptation of Robert Asprin's Myth Adventures (I still have this book in hand and yes it is falling apart) and I just fell in love with the art and of course the story. So much so that I bought all the books in the series. I have always loved the art of Phil Foglio on this 8 issue run he did and he defined the character Aahz in my mind for always. And of course I cannot forget to mention Tim Sale on inks who is such a great talent in his own right. This is such a fun piece to have by these talented artists. Everyone has their series or artist that hits it out of the park for them and for the young child in me this is the one.
