DescriptionPlaying with old, forgotten universes is a great wonderful concept. What could have been / what could be? While the Crusaders ones have hands down been my favorites the diversion into Atlas/Seaboard and now AC Comics has been a load of fun too :)Joe had really opened up the commissions slots looking to raise a little cash to deal with some car trouble (too many folks are too close to the edge these days :\ ) and AC fit the bill. Going back and digging through my 80's AC Comics really reminded me of how scattered the company's output was. Still, a nice bit of nostalgia to put together a new Sentinels team and wonder ~what could have been~. Certainly not a problem here with a lack of heroines! Based on Paris Cullins splash page from New Gods 25 this second cover from Joe might be my favorite of the three. Astron looks great here and you've got some great faces on Colt and Dragonfly. Cover lettering is my hack job. Joe's original art is clean. Original size 11x17 ------- In This Issue ... Things don't slow down for the Sentinels as Astron, inter-dimensional police officer and sometime ally, arrives to tell the team about the return of two of their greatest foes - Black Shroud and Azagoth! Why have these two malevolent beings joined forces and what are their plans? And, uh-oh, who's that menacing shadowy figure on the last page? This Issue's Cover ... Astron surrounded by the faces of Dragonfly, Silver, Colt, Bolt, Ms. Victory and Captain Freedom. Social/Sharing |

Only the great Kevin Moorhead would take on commissioning AC Comics hero, and make it work! This is awesome!
