DescriptionPlaying with old, forgotten universes is a great wonderful concept. What could have been / what could be? While the Crusaders ones have hands down been my favorites the diversion into Atlas/Seaboard and now AC Comics has been a load of fun too :)Joe had really opened up the commissions slots looking to raise a little cash to deal with some car trouble (too many folks are too close to the edge these days :\ ) and AC fit the bill. Going back and digging through my 80's AC Comics really reminded me of how scattered the company's output was. Still, a nice bit of nostalgia to put together a new Sentinels team and wonder ~what could have been~. Certainly not a problem here with a lack of heroines! A great set of faces on this cover (based on Avengers 221) with Coral and Scarlet Scorpion standing out (could I count Bolt too?). The second part comes from me being an idiot. I'd dreamed up three covers all about the launch of a new line-up and never once, on any cover, actually showed the team together [GEEK FACEPALM]. Trying to figure out how to fix that :\ I remembered that great last page from Avengers 300 by Buscema and decided to go with that. So, presented here are the cover and last page of the all new Sentinels of Justice #1. Cover lettering is my hack job. Joe's original art is clean. Original size 11x17 ------- In This Issue ... Between the twin invasions from the Kronons and the Vardax the Sentinels have shattered, going their own ways. A horrible time for Ms. Victory's old foe Mitra, Monarch of Atlantis to decide to attack. From all corners of the globe the earth's greatest protectors come to help defeat this deadly menace! And once the dust settles, a new time rises from the ashes! Lead by Ms. Victory the new Sentinels of Justice are Bolt, Captain Freedom, Colt, Dragonfly, Magic Lantern and Silver! This Issue's Cover ... Who will be joining the newest version of the world's greatest protectors? Will it be Bolt, Rad, Captain Paragon, Scarlet Scorpion, the Shade? Black Diamond, Samson, Dragonfly, the Messenger, Magic Lantern? Silver, Nightveil, Coral, Captain Freedom, White Heat? Social/Sharing |

This really has the Vic Bridges flowing! No way I could only pick four from that group! Joe just killed this. Nice knowing there was someone else besides me that jumped on Joe's car repair commission list. He certainly delivered here!
