Description

One of six originals I picked up from the amazing guys at Creaturebox, Dave Guertin and Greg Baldwin, as part of their 'Shred' special edition package. Shred is their printed (and PDF) collection of hand drawn sketches from the past couple of years, many of them originally done as rewards for their 'Monster Volume' Kickstarter campaign. A couple of the sketches I picked up from that campaign made it into this book.

For the special edition of 'Shred' they were offering 5.5" x 4.25" sketches on toned paper, drawn using pens, markers and color pencils. What you got was random, but you could be assured that every single one would be awesome! Only a handful were posted to Instagram, including just one of the ones that I received, and with those, they usually posted a character name and short background story/idea. For the ones that I received that haven't yet made their way to any online postings, I came up with the name! :) (my name on this one!)

If you've got Instagram, definitely give these guys a follow! They post regularly and are currently taking part in Inktober (as of Oct 2015), pumping out amazing images every day!

Dave and Greg are perhaps best known as concept artists in the video game industry and are the creators of Ratchet And Clank.
