Description

Although he's not much remembered today, Peter Poulton was a fairly prolific artist for the science fiction pulps and digests in the 1950's. He primarily contributed pen and ink illustrations, though he did do a few covers as well. This is an interior he did for the August 1953 issue of Startling Stories, illustrating "Journey to Misenum" by Sam Merwin, Jr.
