Description

Michael Dooney is probably best known for his work on the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, but I first met him at comic conventions where he produced wonder drawings of varlous female characters.

My wife was very impressed with his work and mentioned getting a commission from him. So, I contacted him and asked if he was interested in doing a drawing of Maleficent. He was agreeable. He put me on his list and said he didn't collect money until the work was done; I thought that was great. A little later he was ready and sent me the four preliminary drawings below. I liked the second one best, but there were two issues - no dragon and she's holding an apple - oops, wrong story! :)

He adjusted and produced the beautiful drawing at the top of this page. I can't recommend him highly enough - talented, organized, careful with your money.
