Description

See the Wolverine sketch in the bottom left corner. My plan is to frame the original DPS I own from this book (check it out here: http://www.comicartfans.com/gallerypiece.asp?piece=925553) along with the published image, and this published cover. I’m hoping to first get it signed by writer Bendis and inker Mark Morales before the framing – we’ll see.

This Avengers book was released for Free Comic Book Day 2009 and the open area in the bottom left was left white to allow for comic stores to stamp their info. I’ve wanted to eventually frame the DPS since I got it and thought it would be cool to pick up an unstamped book and have Jim do a nice Wolvie sketch to go along with it. And yep, I think I was right – should turn out pretty nice!
